Envisioned by its owners as a mix of restaurant, deli, farmer’s market and gathering space, the Cannery is a reflection of the public’s growing interest in fresh, local foods. The Wild Blue team of architects, designers, carpenters and creatives were there every step of the retail design, from conception of the retail environment and brand ID to the site’s interior design and graphics installation.
Embracing the site’s industrial past was central to creating an immersive branded environment. Opened in 2019, The Cannery Public Market paid homage to its working class roots leaning into reclaimed materials to anchor the destination’s unmistakable look.
